Principle: Fill in the missing squares with dominoes representing the indicated sum.

Some squares show a target sum to reach by placing a domino. For example, if a square shows the number 7, you can place a domino with one side showing 6 and the other showing 1. Using dominoes is a fun way to practice addition.

This activity comes with an explanatory sheet that presents it.


The use of the following materials is required for the success of the activity:

  • 1 set of dominoes per student (or the ones in Appendix 1)
  • 1 copy of the Activity Sheet per student
